More Disney Photos . . .

Incase anyone wants to see a few more photos . . .

Greyson.  He didn't go to Disney but its an awfully good picture.

Parker and Cailan

Nolan making a growly face at Reagan.  They have kind of a love-hate relationship.  She likes to tease him, and he likes to pretend he doesn't like her.  The second she is out of his sight he couldn't be more beside himself.  "Where's Reagan??" Twenty five million times.

Reagan: a self portrait

Cailan and her very large strawberry ice cream.

Parker looks like he is giving a thumbs up.  Nolan looks grouchy.

And now happy.

Reagan's relationship with Parker is more love-love . . . She is fantastic with both boys!

We saw someone writing in the sky.

Nolan has a new habit that drives us crazy of chewing on his hands.  Constantly.  Donald is imitating him. We got lots of good pics of Reagan and Nolan with Donald.

Playing drums near the Pooh ride "Pooh's house."

Did I mention the parade was awesome?

Parker and Ashlan getting ready for fireworks!

It was a blast and would not have been the same without Sheri and the girls.  We got lots of good family time together.  So many pictures taken and so many missed photo opportunities.  Nolan had Cailan read him a story every night before bed and I really wish I had a picture of that.  Maybe next time.

Disney Day 4 . . .

This was our latest night at the park.  We decided to stay home in the morning so the boys could have good naps and headed over to Disney around 4pm.  We had time to ride "in Pooh's house" and do the tea cups again before meeting with Sheri and the girls to find a spot for the parade and fireworks.

Cailan hula-hooping

My oldest niece, Reagan, took all these pictures.  This is one of my favorites.

Ashlan and Parker

Cotton candy!

I'm not sure why this kind of thing has to happen.

Waiting for fireworks

Cailan and her strawberry ice cream

Mickey Mouse ice cream!

Parker and Mama.  A very happy baby for 9pm!

The electric parade is COOL and pictures really don't do it justice.  They turn off all the lights in the park, it is really something to see.

Fireworks at the castle

Grand finale!

We had such a great week with Sheri and the girls here and can't wait for them to come back!

Disney Day 3 . . .

Epcot!

You can see the Epcot ball in the back.  There is a ride in there! I don't think I knew that.  I've always wondered what was in the ball . . .  Its a pretty cool ride, too.  Ask Nolan, he rode it twice.  Parker only got to ride it once.

So I forgot to try to get a joint stroller/mood photo today.  This is the closest I have. We were also trying to do a whole family photo at the front of each park and didn't get to do that today either.

Epcot is a lot of fun and has a lot less people than Magic Kingdom.  Nolan even got to ride three rides twice, Nemo, Figment and the Earth Adventure ride in the ball.  We also rode a boat in the Land restaurant.  And I rode a CRAZY space ride with my niece, Reagan (pictured above with Parker.) Mission: Space maybe? There is a green option (for wusses) and an orange option (for non-wusses.) We rode the orange.  There was so much lead up about not riding if you have motion sickness that I was terrified by the time the ride started but it was really pretty cool and I did not require the barf bag they have placed in front of each seat.  Luckily. We didn't really get to go around to the countries much which was too bad, though we did meet Donald in Mexico.  He was wearing a sombrero and Nolan asked him to take off his hat.

Jellyfish in the Nemo ride

Drinkin' juice

Pooh! Epcot's flower and garden festival is going on so there are really cool things like this everywhere.

Nolan and Lightening McQueen

Ashlan, Sheri, Parker, Nolan and Ryan.  Nolan has a new gun that lights up and bubbles come out of it.  I'm pretty sure he is in love.

He loves Pluto. Though he calls his Pulto.

Reagan's Mickey masterpiece with ice cream

As a side note, I do not suggest making lasagna in the crock pot.  I have been making crock pot meals this week so we can come home to dinner and don't have to eat too many meals at the park. Sunday I made white chicken chili, yum.  Monday: Taco soup, yum.  Tonight: lasagna, bleck.  I think it cooked too long which was part of the problem but the ricotta cheese layers looked like ground beef.  It reminded some of us of Chef Boyardee.  Ryan made fun of it the whole time he ate it, but had two helpings.  Hmmmm . . .

Disney Day 2 . . .

Ryan wanted to see if he could recreate yesterday's picture capturing their different moods . . .

Today was Magic Kingdom Day . . .  First of all let me say that Nolan made it with minimal meltdowns on very little sleep.  He was up before 8am after a very long day yesterday, took no nap, and we didn't even leave the park until almost 9pm.  He wasn't in bed until after 10:30.  Today he got to ride Toy Story, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tea Cups (twice), Pooh and Peter Pan.  Thats in addition to meeting Pooh and Tigger, watching a Mickey parade, riding on a ferry and riding on a monorail.  Did I mention no nap??

Nolan wasted no time getting ready this morning.  First thing on his agenda? Mickey hat! He also barged right onto the couch where Cailan was sleeping.

Zorg? Zorb? I'm not really sure . . .  This is after the Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear ride.  It should be noted that my sister in law, Sheri, got the highest possible score on this ride: 999999.  For comparison purposes it should be noted that I got about 13000.

Nolan on his second time riding the tea cups.  He made friends with the adorable little girls we sat with.

Castle at night.

Yes, he is still a boy . . .  No, we don't let him drink soda . . .

Nolan loves Pooh and Tigger.  His mood was turning sour until he spotted them at the head of the line we were standing in.

Fist Bump!

Again, I have about a thousand other pictures I would like to post.  So I'll just add one more.

Cailan, Ashlan and Reagan . . .  not only are my nieces awesome because they spend half the day arguing over who gets to hold my kids, but they are just plain fun to be around.

Disney Day 1 . . .

Its not that bad . . .  really . . . We spent most of the day today at Disney Hollywood Studios with Ryan's sister, Sheri, and our nieces, Reagan, Cailan and Ashlan.  To put it simply, it was a blast. But you wouldn't know it from this picture, which may be my favorite photo from the day . . .  Poor Nolan, this was taken at about 5:15, and he was running on fumes.  A fun filled day with no nap equals a toddler who falls asleep in the stroller right before the one show you know he will love.  Luckily, we were able to get him up in time.

Zonked! But woke up in time to meet . . .

Goofy!

I have no idea who this character is, but Parker made fast friends with him (yes, it looks like Ryan is sporting a purse . . .  no, he is not . . .)

If you know my kid, you know that Mater and Lightening McQueen are at the top of his cool list

I think Parker and Mickey were equally smitten with each other

Relaxing at dinner, Cailan, Reagan, Ryan and Sheri

Parker, Sheri and Cailan

Ashlan and Nolan . . .  Nolan is quite smitten with his new Mickey hat.

I have about a million other pictures I would like to bore everyone with but we have a few more days of this fun/insanity so I will hold off . . .  I will say one of my favorite moments of the day was Nolan, waiting in line to meet Mickey, and asking if he could give Mickey a hug.  Nolan loves Mickey but can be very standoffish if he is feeling shy or uncomfortable.  He ran right up to Mickey and Goofy and gave them big hugs.  Parker on the other hand is never shy or standoffish.  He didn't cry once today (except in the car on the way there and home which really doesn't count.)  He loved all the sights there were for him to look at and every last person that gushed about his cuteness.
