This baby is a giggler! Over the weekend we got a few great pictures of him . . . By the end of our photo session he was exhausted as you will be able to tell . . .

Nolan had a big weekend . . . On Saturday, even though it was literally 100 degrees, we took Nolan to the park for the first time. On Sunday our friends Chris and Susanne hosted their first Summer Spaghetti Spectacular . . . It was a great day, we ate lots of good food and the older kids seemed to have a great time playing on an inflatable waterslide (Nolan is a little young for that still, but we think he enjoyed watching . . . ) Sadly, I did not have my camera for either event . . . Instead of posting a picture of Nolan's first trip to the park or Nolan's first Summer Spaghetti Spectacular I'm posting a picture of Nolan in his new favorite shirt . . .

Fourth of July!

We spent last weekend (Nolan's first 4th of july) visiting Mema and Papa in Blakely. It was a nice relaxing weekend (I actually got to read a little) and Nolan got to spend lots of good time with Mema and Papa. He giggled quite a bit for us and made lots of new noises.

Ryan's mom has perfected holding a baby on her hip . . . I never quite got it right . . .

Steve makes a little noise that Nolan LOVED, its a whistle that sounds like a little bird. Nolan just couldn't get enough of it.

Of course, it wouldn't be a weekend (or week day for that matter) if Ryan didn't nap with the baby. This was how Ryan baby sat while Lea Jean and I went shopping.

We finally got a picture of Nolan smiling . . . He has been smiling for several weeks now, but once we break out the camera he tends to just stare at it . . . I think maybe the car seat helped . . .
