Some fun visitors . . .

Last weekend we had a fwe very fun visitors . . . Two of my friends, Meredith and Joey, came from Missouri to visit and meet Nolan. For those of you that were at our wedding you may remember Meredith as the maid of honor. We hadn't seen Joey since last summer and hadn't seen Meredith in just over 3 years so it was a great visit. Nolan hardly fussed again the whole weekend (he seems to fuss the most when its just him and mommy at home . . . hum . . . ) it was lot of fun and of course we were very sad to see them go and hope to see them again very soon.

This is how we spent most of the weekend . . . fun for Meredith and I since playing cards is about our favorite thing to do . . . Not as much fun for Joey who doesn't enjoy it quite as much.

Happy Grandparent's Day!!

Last Sunday was Nolan's first Grandparents Day and he celebrated in style . . . The G/Mema celebration started on Saturday when Ryan and I had a wedding in Destin, FL to attend. Destin is about 2 1/2 hours away and we made the trip by ourselves . . . Mema did us a huge favor and drove to town to babysit Nolan for the first few hours, then G did us a huge favor and took over (which meant putting Nolan to bed and waiting at our house until we got home at 2 am!) Nolan barely napped at all and I'm pretty sure thats because he was trying to soak up all the attention he could get :) Sunday morning we had G over for a nice breakfast which Nolan almost slept through. Happy Grandparent's Day to all and thanks again to G and Mema!!

Labor Day weekend

We had a nice relaxing Labor day weekend this past weekend. The weekend started with a visit from Myrna (Mimi to Nolan.) Then Saturday we went up to Ryan's mom's where we spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and eating yummy food!
